VOLUNTEER

Our wonderful volunteers help us with a variety of projects, from gardening and landscaping to painting, organizing, maintenance, and in general making Olalla a better place for all members of our community. Our facilities and programs would not be the same without their generous donation of time of time, heart and skill.

If you're interested in volunteering, please click the button below to fill out our application form. More details regarding the individual programs and their volunteer needs are listed on this page.

If you have questions about volunteering at Olalla, you can reach us via email at volunteer@olallacenter.org or call us at (541) 336-2254.

"Bright Horizons Therapeutic Riding Center exists to improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of individuals and their families through therapeutic equestrian activities built on professionalism and trust with a focus on community education, communication and teamwork."

The program serves children (ages 6-13) that deal with emotional and behavioral challenges.  Behavior Specialists work with the children in a safe, structured, therapeutic environment to provide support and help them learn skills.

Project Bravery fosters the creation of safe spaces of open expression for LGBTQIA2S+ youth; it promotes and encourages their visibility within, participation in, and leadership of the community; and it builds equitable resources and partnerships in order to support them; all in the pursuit of creating communities of acknowledgement and celebration.

Walden Project works with youth and families throughout the community, many of whom face barriers to accessing traditional services and lack natural supports.

Walden Project also coordinates community groups with other Olalla programs and community organizations. Check out the Olalla blog for more information about the groups and activities we have planned.
