she/her

Sandy comes to us with a lifelong history of human service.  She began her career as a nurses aid in high school progressing to hospital corpsman in the Navy to going back to school as a "non traditional student" (old) to get a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Pacific University.  Moving to the coast in 1994, she and her husband Dan have raised their two children nestled in the community of Newport and she has been a long term employee and advocate at the Lincoln County Developmental Disabilities Program.  Now empty nesters, she and Dan are enjoying travelling, laundry that doesn't stack up, smaller grocery bills and each other along with their neurotic black lab and two entitled cats.
