To kick off Pride Month, Project Bravery co-sponsored a Lincoln City Pride event with Integrity Coastal Health & Wellness, Oregon Central Coast PFLAG, Parenting Success Network, Family Promise of Lincoln County, and Lincoln County Public Health. It was held at The Pines Dine food trucks in south Lincoln City on Saturday, June 3, and it was very well attended! There were activities at every table, live music by Kathy Redwine and the Old Vines, and Cupcake Walk with prizes donated by My Petite Sweet of Lincoln City: yummy! The Pines, the public, and all the sponsors felt it was a highly successful event! (P.S. The Lincoln City Pride 2023 Sticker was designed by Olalla's very own, one and only Korayma!)
The following morning, Project Bravery set up a table again for Yachats Pride. It was a beautiful day and also well attended (despite the windiness!). It coincided with the weekly Yachats Farmers Market, which was wonderful for both groups, and Project Bravery got to share its mission at the south end of the county!
