Olalla Center’s Outpatient Services program was created to help bring traditional therapy and support services to people of all ages throughout Lincoln County.
People are complex! We all experience a wide range of life situations, ups and downs, thoughts and feelings - all of which can effect our lives in very real ways. People who access our outpatient services receive a customized treatment plan to help them with their mental health needs, as well as aid them in other areas where they may need additional support. We offer a variety of supplemental services, which can be added to traditional therapy, because we recognize that mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all. Each individual receives the specific support that they need. Olalla has been working with people in Lincoln County for over 40 years, and reaches well into our communities, where we have many well-established working relationships.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
EMDR therapy does not require talking in detail about the distressing issue or completing homework between sessions.
EMDR therapy, rather than focusing on changing the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from the distressing issue, allows the brain to resume its natural healing process.
EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. For many clients, EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies.
EMDR therapy helps children and adults of all ages.
Information for Trauma-Informed Yoga:
Olalla is pleased to offer Trauma-Informed yoga to our clients in individual and/or small group format.
Trauma-informed yoga is a gentle form of yoga for all ages and skill levels. In a safe and supportive space, individuals learn to incorporate breath, movement, and body awareness which helps develop emotional regulation skills and deepen the body-mind connection.
